We Bought A Zoo Movie

We Bought A Zoo MovieDirector Cameron Crowe (who once brought us Almost Famous and Vanilla Sky) is going to helm the movie We Bought a Zoo, 20 Century Fox's film adaptation of a memoir by Benjamin Mee. It's the true story of a father who moves his family to the English countryside to own and operate a zoo. Actor Matt Damon got the lead role as the father. The film should be released on December 23, 2011.

Here's a video interview of the real-life Benjamin Mee:

"A widowed father buys a dilapidated zoo in hopes of making a fresh start. He and his children, along with a small but loyal staff, work to get the zoo reopened."

Matt Damon usually plays in more dramatic or action -oriented thriller films, so I'm a bit surprised that he signed up for the lead role in the movie We Bought a Zoo. But well, I guess it will make the film even more interesting. I'm actually quite impatient to see Matt Damon's performance in the movie We Bought a zoo!
